Your blood to me is precious
We wont forget, what did happen in the last few weeks in Iran. I just remember this song these days:
By: Sinead O'Connor:
I hope you're happy now
I could never make you so
You were a hard man
No harder in this world
You made me cold And you made me hard
And you made me the thief Of your heart
Winter is cold Oh, but you're colder still
And for the first time
I feel like you're mine
I'll share you with the one
Who will mend what falls apart
And turn a blind eye To the thief of your heart
Oh, you lost
Oh, you lost
Hope You lost
I'll never wash these clothes
I want to keep the stain
Your blood to me is precious
Nor would I spill it in vain
Your spirit sings Though your lips never part
Singing only to me The thief of your heart .

Change for Iran

This is a time we have to share our ideas,
This is a time we need to be together,
This is a time we need change,
This is a time we need to go hand to hand,
This time my dearest friends,
We must do something.
We
All the people,
From different parts,
With different types,
We have to get together,
If we want a CHANGE for better.

Iranian New year

In harmony with the rebirth of nature, the Iranian New Year Celebration, or NorooZ, always begins on the first day of spring( 20 of March).
The first day on the Iranian calendar falls on the March equinox, the first day of spring. At the time of the equinox, the sun is observed to be directly over the equator, and the north and south poles of the Earth lie along the solar terminator; sunlight is evenly divided between the north and south hemispheres.
Norooz ceremonies are symbolic representations of two ancient concepts - the End and the Rebirth; or Good and Evil. A few weeks before the New Year, Iranians clean and rearrange their homes. They make new clothes, bake pastries and germinate seeds as sign of renewal. The ceremonial cloth is set up in each household. Troubadours, referred to as Haji Firuz, disguise themselves with makeup and wear brightly colored outfits of satin. These Haji Firuz, singing and dancing, parade as a carnival through the streets with tambourines, kettle drums, and trumpets to spread good cheer and the news of the coming new year.
Haft - sin
A few days prior to the New Year, a special cover is spread on to the Persian carpet or on a table in every Persian household. This ceremonial table is called cloth of seven dishes, (each one beginning with the Persian letter Sinn).
The number seven has been sacred in Iran since the ancient times, and the seven dishes stand for the seven angelic heralds of life-rebirth, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, patience, and beauty.
The symbolic dishes consist of:
Sabzeh or sprouts, usually wheat or lentil representing rebirth.
Samanu is a pudding in which common wheat sprouts are transformed and given new life as a sweet, creamy pudding and represents the ultimate sophistication of Persian cooking.
Seeb means apple and represents health and beauty.
Senjed the sweet, dry fruit of the Lotus tree, represents love. It has been said that when lotus tree is in full bloom, its fragrance and its fruit make people fall in love and become oblivious to all else.
Seer which is garlic in Persian, represents medicine.
Somaq sumac berries, represent the color of sunrise; with the appearance of the sun Good conquers Evil.
Serkeh or vinegar, represents age and patience.
Happy Iranian new year
